Phil Collins is a legendary British singer, songwriter, drummer, and producer known for his emotional ballads, powerful drumming, and distinctive voice. Rising to fame as Genesis’ drummer and later as their frontman, he became a solo superstar with hits like In the Air Tonight, Against All Odds, and Another Day in Paradise.
My introduction to him was through the song “Another Day in Paradise”. It still makes me cry when I listen to it, most of the time. Just like the first time. I mean, who sings about homelessness when everyone else sang about drugs, sex, women and love. But say what you will, how much ever I like Phil Collins, it is depressing to listen to him. Not that it is all bad. Just look at the hits.
